Terms & Conditions

We welcome your enquiry; to secure your booking a 50% deposit is required.

Payment can be made by direct debit to our nominated bank account or by arranging credit card payment over the phone.

The balance of the payment will be due 7 days prior to sailing, including any specific requirements that might be added options.

All prices are in $AUD and include 10% GST and are subject to change without notice.

Surcharge for public holidays and Seasonal rates may apply.

As with any outdoor activity company, we cannot guarantee a blue sky. If the weather is rough or dangerous for boating, at the discretion of Huskisson Sailing Charters management as well as the captain on the day, we will postpone and reschedule the charter (we will try to give 48hours notice if possible).

Rescheduled charters are generally taken within the current season of the original booking date (an extension may be possible by discussion on a case-by-case basis).

Payment will still apply for optional staff arrangements in the event of postponement.

If you choose not to reschedule, the charter will then be considered as a cancellation, and fees will apply – please see Cancellation information below.

Jervis Bay is known as one of the nicest and safest waterways being well protected from most strong winds and offshore conditions.

If the charterer cancels the charter within 14 days of the date of the charter, the deposit will be forfeited.

If the charter is cancelled inside 7 days and full payment has been made the whole charter fee including any additional options will be forfeited.

If notice of cancellation is 14 days or greater the deposit will be refunded less a 50% booking and administration fee.

In the event of a mechanical problem with the booked vessel, Huskisson Sailing Charters reserves the right to change the vessel to another of similar type and capacity for the charter to be completed or reschedule the charter to another date.

Guests are welcome to BYO food, beverages, and ice.

The excellent Cafes in Huskisson can make up picnic packs with notice. Alternatively, we can suggest our recommended caterers.

The waters are beautiful clear and clean and the waterway is generally very sheltered, guests can swim only when the boat is anchored or stopped on a mooring however snorkeling, swimming, and jumping or diving off the boat is at guest’s own risk.

We do not offer fishing tours so please don’t bring rods or equipment as we operate in marine sanctuary zones and have no permits for fishing

Please don’t bring inflatable pools or other toys as space is limited and pool floats can be dangerous if windy in open water may blow away and may not be able to be recovered and we don’t want to risk leaving plastics in the ocean.

BYO is welcome but limited to RSA compliance and safe boating we suggest strong liquor is not encouraged. Intoxication is not allowed we have a .05 rule while sailing this can be relaxed once we are back on the mooring.

The Master of the vessel reserves the right to terminate the tour if he or she deems that;

  • Conditions are dangerous to the vessel, crew, and passengers
  • Any passenger is acting in a way that is unbecoming
